Laser Cutting & Engraving

Bespoke design and cutting, Bristol

Alongside larger installations, I offer a bespoke laser cutting and engraving service from my Bristol studio. I work on an industrial laser cutter with a 120 × 85 cm cutting area, large enough for statement signs and wall pieces as well as small, detailed keepsakes.

Every piece is designed in-house, so you can come to me with a finished file, a rough sketch or just an idea.

What I can make for you

Layered logos & signage

I can take your existing logo and separate it into layers, then cut each one from wood and assemble them into a multi-layered piece with real depth. Ideal for reception walls, shop signs, offices and events.

Logo design

No logo yet? With a background in graphic design, I can create one for you, drawn from the start to work beautifully as a cut and layered piece as well as on screen and in print.

Photo engraving

Photographs engraved into wood: a favourite portrait, a wedding photo, a family pet or a much-loved place, turned into a lasting keepsake.

Names & personalised pieces

Names, dates and messages cut or engraved for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, new babies and other special occasions, from signs and table names to gifts.

Bespoke one-off designs

Something that doesn’t fit a category? Bring me the idea and I’ll design it with you, from a single gift to a run of pieces for an event or business.

Large-format cutting

The 120 × 85 cm cutting area means large panels can be cut in one piece, and bigger work can be designed in sections that join seamlessly.

Multi-layered pieces are where laser cutting really comes alive. Each layer is cut separately and stacked, so a flat design gains depth, shadow and texture.

It’s the same approach I use for my largest installations, scaled to suit a logo, a name or a gift.

How it works

  1. Tell me your idea

Send a logo, a photo, a sketch or just a description, with the size you have in mind and any date you’re working to.

  2. Design & proof

I prepare the design, separating it into layers where needed, and send you a proof to approve before anything is cut.

  3. Cutting & finishing

Your piece is cut, engraved and assembled by hand in my Bristol studio.

  4. Collection or delivery

Collect from Bristol or have it delivered.
